There's a chance, if you don't wait (see sources). In the future, try to make considerations first, then the bids. You may be able to work something out with the seller, but it hurts the productivity of eBay for people to not think first. A hint, not paying is more than a bad review, it's putting your account at risk too.

As far as my bank, Wells Fargo, is concerned, you can call then ahead of time and place a stop payment (for a fee). You'll need the exact amount, company name (PayPal) and to tell them that it's an ACH.
Additionally, if you call customer service and dispute an unauthorized charge after it posts, they'll credit your account and place a stop payment for free.
You should still consult PayPal or eBay, though, since reversing the charge or putting a stop payment doesn't mean the seller won't get paid. You may end up owing the money to PayPal, who could charge you fees and go to war (trying different amounts that you didn't put a stop payment on) with your checking account.

once the transfer is accomplished, and that only takes a few seconds to do, you can not reverse the process. Your payment is final as far as the bank is concerned. your only recourse is payment arbitration with pay pal.
Good luck, but I hope you enjoy your purchase I'm afraid your will not be able to get out of the purchase agreement!

I'm not sure if you can do that, but why not just turn around and resell it on ebay. You might be able to make a profit. Put the reserve price at whatever you paid for it.
