The most important thing that I have learned is that I don't think like other people.
All my life, I couldn't understand why people didn't think like me -- why I saw certain things so clearly & they didn't get it (or vice versa). I always thought it was them.
Then I learned that I'm the one who doesn't think like everyone else. It isn't better or worse -- just different.
It has made me change my expectations of others.

Learn from others ignorance
To think for yourself and to open your eyes and see the world around you. Take the time to listen to people who are nothing like you or what you believe.
