Absolutely! Be prepared to shop around and don't cheap out on the frames. Think of the glasses as a fashion accessory that you wear every day. Get something that suits your face in a color that matches most of your wardrobe (Black, silver or gold are pretty general purpose). The most important thing is that you like the way the frames look on your face and make your face look.

Well yeah. But if you have worn glasses a long time then you'll find out which style looks best, not all will look good.

Not really - they are intended to make you see better!
The longer you can go before you need them the better.
Wearing them as an affectation now is silly. When you are older and can't do without them you will kick yourself.
Save the money for buying trendy clothes.
