Looks like everyone already covered all this, but here's my suggestion anyway. As long as you are on an antibiotic, the germs on your toothbrush should not increase the amount of time you have strep. However, for the safety of others, I would recommend leaving your toothbrush in a small cup of mint listerine overnight. It will kill any germs in it and you don't have to bother rinsing it forever the next day or having it taste terrible. I would then replace it about 3 days before your antibiotics are done. You should be more than set by then to brush your teeth without recontaminating your toothbrush.

Just decontaminate your toothbrush. Pour some peroxide on it and every bit of strep on it will die instantly.
You really don't even need to do that much. Simply rinsing your toothbrush out, removes most strep. And the anti-bodies created while you are sick will prevent reinfection. The real problem is if you share your toothbrush with someone else.

Strep cant survive on surfaces. Although if you feel that strongly about it would wait until after you're no longer contagious (a couple days after you've been on antibiotics) before changing.

Omg!.........yes, unless you want strep throat again
You can disinfect toothbrushes overnight in a solution of household bleach (sodium hypochlorite). Then rinse in clean water, and allow to air dry.
Hope this helps!

Change it once it goes away, the brush your using during that time should be cleaned after ever use by puring mouth wash over it, or puring mouthwash in a cup and letting it sit for a few minutes.

If I'm not mistaken, you should change it 7-10 days after being on an antibiotic.
