how often do they need to do "it" themselves.
i have been married 16yr. lost the spark. he does satisfy me first but find myself wanting more after. and he just rolls over and he is done.

my husband did ask me twice to "finish" after having sex, but I was to shy to do it, so I think he does it himself in bathroom. and when he does that i find myself "doing it" again to get another satifying second in.

When I was married, I would please myself in the shower and than please my wife when she would let me. I see no reason not to have toys. I would suggest a beginner dildo kit with multiple attachments to see which one works best. If you need more spice, I would suggest bringing the toys into your love making sessions and experimenting. I would also recommend couples sexual discovery books like the Joy of Sex and the Karma Sutra. Another thing that I like to do is simple bondage where you use restraints to tie one another up and make it the free person's job to get the other to get off any means necessary.

This really depends......
Are you able to discuss sexual satisfaction with your husband? If so, this would be a great opportunity to "guide" him, gently, into what you "need". Just be reassuring.
If he is not the kind of man that like to discuss things like that, possibly you could introduce the "toys" into your love making. Whether it is during actual intercourse or just in a loving and fun foreplay or afterplay. Let him know that these things "excite" you and he will be more apt to allow them in expecially if you are allowing him to use the toys on or with you.
Either way, including him will help you both be closer and could introduce a whole new excitement behind closed doors.
As for husbands finishing themselves in the bathroom....Men are usually more sexual beings than women. Most do masterbate, some in the shower, before sex so they will last longer with their partner in bed.
