Honesty is relative to the information that you believe to be true, not to information that is true. To be honest all of the time is the best policy as it is the same as being honest with yourself.
There is a difference between telling the whole truth and only part of is. Both are honest, only one is complete, but neither are inherently good or bad.

Definitely NOT! In ways, lies would be the best way to follow. First, it gets you out of trouble. Second, if you didn't lie, you would be prude. Well, let's think about it, when you tell the truth all the time, don't you feel intruded? I mean, someone may ask you a personal question and you really don't want to answer it, what do you do? Respond with the truth, or with the lie. You must also realize the truth can be deceiving.

To tell you the truth honesty is a good thing but it really depends on what you are honest about and what you lie about. For example if your friend ask you if you think her top looks nice and you think it doesnt then you lie to her to make her happy. But if she ask you if you saw her boy friend with another girl the other day and he ask you not to tell her then you have to be honest and say yes.Email at basketballbrina12@yahoo.com if you have anymore questions.

Honesty is the best policy IF you aren't ashamed of who you are and what you've done...and are willing to take the heat for your answers.
This doesn't mean you have to be mean or crude.
When a girl asks me if a dress makes her look fat I first tell her I think she looks great. If she presses for an answer I say yes it does, but I like it and her anyway.
People have now learned. I'm not the one to talk to for false reassurance.

Depends on the situation. Here's a hypothetical question; A man with a gun is chasing you, but you ran around a corner and lost him momentarily. The man with the gun comes up to me and asks me where you went. Do you want me to tell him where you are?
Hopefully that clears that one up and I only used this extreme example to make this very clear. Not all lying is bad.

I pride myself on sincerity and honesty, it's the best way to go. However I think lying to myself in many aspects is my greatest downfall in this point in life. Idk though I find it hard to lie to people though. Sometimes the truth hurts, but suck it up and drive on. But I am a wastoid not taking my own advice I guess lol.

this day in age nope, its not time efficient. People would have to lie to cut corners to get it done while in a hurry. As for relationships it might be if certain questions were not asked. ie. what was your first thought when you saw me? Not all answers will be appealing to the asker.

yes. There are times when being honest will hurt others, that's
when you leave out every little detail. But,you still don't lie.Just tell
as much truth as possible w/o lying. You can even say,"No Comment".Try anything to keep you honest.

Not in my opinion
Being "brutally frank" can sometimes be constructive.
However, some people "tell the truth" just to be mean.

Definately it is. If it was, the world will be closer to a perfect world, but we all know the consequences of that as well as the advantages.
