Cold fusion refers to a very specific type of nuclear reaction occuring at low (room) temperature. It has yet to be proven whether cold fusion is possible.

There are many ways to "produce" energy without heat. Some may include lifesavers candy.

What you are probably talking about is a way to create light (little flashes in your mouth) by rudely chewing Wintergreen lifesavers with your mouth open. If it is very dark, your close friend (who else wants to get that close and look in your chewing mouth) can see the flashes.

None. "Cold fusion" does not mean energy produced without heat: it refers to a nuclear reaction not instigated by high temperatures (as in a thermonuclear bomb). The flashes you see when fracturing some Life Savers are probably triboelectric or piezoelectric in nature; they have nothing to do with a nuclear reaction.

wint-o-green life savers

Make sure your mouth is really dry (breathe in and out really fast through your mouth), pop in a couple of wintergreen life savers (without closing your mouth or getting them wet) and crunch. You will see sparks. This is best done at night. The sparks are from the energy released from the sugar.

The wintergreen lifesavers are the ones that will make blue sparks if you bite down on them in a dark room.

I think you are referring to Wintergreen lifesavers, that if you chew them in a dark room you can see sparks in your mouth!
