There's alot that goes into naming your children! I feel that our name has alot to do w/ who we are as we get older. I have an unusual name and although I don't like my name -Leta- as I got older I realized it was part of why I am who I am. Kids will be cruel and make fun no matter what name you give the baby. Just keep this in mind when you are naming the baby. All my kids have 3 names and their last name. This way if the kids want as they get older they can use any of their 3 names. It was fun finding 3 names for each of my 4 kids. My brother decided to follow suit and give his daughter 3 names as well. Now this may sound selfish but if I told you my children's names and you decided you liked them and named your baby that name then it wouldn't be as special would it?
My top names for girls right now..........
Aslan- like in Narnia
McGuire
Thurston

For boys..............
Payton
Eli
Jude
Skylen

I really like boys names for girls and biblical names for boys. Pay attention when you watch movies, read books, or just strollin around town. We got my last daughters' name from the movie Dogma. Ya never know! Good luck and congrads!

No but i have an ideal for you if you haven't thought of it yet. Try putting names togehter , like family name or if you name it after someone then you can use part of thier name or half of that name and put it with another name like puting the names together. I named my granddaughter after my daughter that died which is her aunt, I took her aunts first name and added her moms first two letters of her first name and came up with one name. therefore she is named after her mom and auntie! You will get unusual name this way !! good luck !
