Who said that men are not allowed to wear make-up?? Boy George wears make-up; Michael Jackson wears make-up, Rupaul wears make-up. Dennis Rodman wears make-up. Boy George, Michael Jackson, Dennis Rodman, and Rupaul are all men. They all wear make-up and people seem to like them very much.
Oh by the way, I don't wear make up.

Some men are using it. It's ok. Just use it with purpose and realize that a lot of people aren't used to straight men using make-up so be careful. It's part of the Emo (short for emotional) crowd and the Goths of course.David Bowie started Glam Rock. Not everyone can get away with gender bending. Keep safe and find others. Have a great day.

No one ever said that men are not allowed to wear make-up, as a matter of fact men get waxed almost more then women nowadays lol which is absurd for me , awww gawd i wish i was male so i wouldn't have to go through so much ordeal of womenhood. Anyways lets be serious, the male is much more handsome and pretty then the female gender, look at the birds for example, the most colourful and smart looking ones are always male !

All the men on TV and on the Red Carpet wear makeup. They were foundations to even out skin tone, sometimes mascara, and sometimes eyeliner. I'm 98% sure that Brandon Routh wore eyeliner as Superman. If you want to wear some, wear the foundation and subtle eyeliner (maybe a brown, so it doesn't stand out as much). You can just say you have clear skin and a thick lash line.

You'd be surprised to know that the top 12 contestants of American Idol wore makeup, yes including the guys. Of course the guys wore it more natural JUST for the camera. For instance Chris Daughtry's beard and sideburns were colored in and he wore a little bit of mascara some nights. The guys only wore makeup so they didn't looked washed out underneath the harsh stage lights though. I wouldn't suggest that guys wear makeup unless they are joining the band Greenday.

I think it really depends on the guy. Some guy's have a style and a look that liner and stuff can look great. For some the look just doesn't suit them. I say, If you like it and are willing to take the flack you'll probably get, go for it. I won't give a bad time about it.

It's not a question of whether they can or can't, it is a question of it being socially acceptable. Actors, musicians, and celebrities wear makeup. I believe that women have self inflicted an impossible image and men don't care that much.

Make-up isnt for women only. God made it so that women were the ones that were supposed to like makeup and men were the ones who are supposed to like being MANLY.

alot of times woman wear makeup because their insecure about themselves....men are supposed to be manly and have a manly face and figure. So they can wear make-up, theres not rule that men cant, but most woman prefer their men without make-up. But its really up to you.

Men,for example actors, wear make-up but I'm not talking about eyeliner. Men are allowed to wear it. There is no rule that they can't.
