I guess it depends on your religion and what you were taught to believe. Some people think God is a female. I think God would look like someone that everyone would accept and love, just because that is how powerful God is. That would be really cool.

I say he would look like an *** hole. This is because the so called perfect supreme being has created a world based on killing and survival and where enormous amounts of inncocent people suffer indescribable pain day in day out. "This is a test!" I hear the religious voice cry, well if that is true...
1) Whats the point of a test if he knows everything and created everything? He wouldnt need a test to find out something! And isnt he suppose to love us all anyway?
2) What a psychopath for letting people die in so many horrific ways and then claiming its because he "loves us" and its for "a test"!
Well I'd better get off my soap box before this God strikes me down. But hey "god" in my defence I was only testing you and remember I love you anyway.

Why would he? God is not an animal or a human. He is Almighty. If God had a face, we would not see it because he is the great one and is mysterious.
But I don't believe in God anyway.

well if you was to look upon the face of god you would die .this is the reason that one of the first men on the face of the earth was to see him as a burning bush.but i thing that Jesus was as close as you are going to get hope this will help you understand god bless bluehawk

I think it was Descartes the French philosopher who said something like "If a triangle could talk it would insist that God has a perfect triangle shape". He said it as an example to our anthropomorph (sorry I don't know the English word for it) point of view on the world.

Your question is very interesting and sparked some memories in me. I once dreamed that I saw Jesus. In my dream, he had no colour, no skin, no masculine organs. He looked like a biology picture of the human body with veins and muscle - he could have been anyone. And since then I have really come to understand the saying that God made us in his own image. God is in us and with us, and it is for that reason we should love our neighbours as we love ourselves. That way, even if we "bump" into God, we will have treated him with love unknowingly.

It states in the Bible that God made man in his own image. So that indicates that God may look very much like us.
