my parents met when mom was 13 and dad was 15 they got married three years later here it is 36 year after getting married and they are still going strong there has never been any infedelity never and if you listen to them talk they are still as much inlove as they were 36 years ago they have been times (when dad was in the army) that they were seperated for years at a time they have letters from that time that actually fill up 3 trunks they can't stand to be away from each other they still go shopping together they don't even go to bed without the other and according to them "we have been through hell and high water live to tell the tale and we don't plan on calling it quits for nobody"

Don't tell me marriages don't last forever!

that isnt true..... a lot of marriages last their whole life... you just have to be careful about the person you marry... make sure that he isnt goin to be abusive controlling or anything else bad like that and it will last forever/.... date them for at least 4 years and then you will really get to know the person.. okk! i have been datin someone 9 months and i feel like i no him better then he does but i am still waitin like 3 and a half more years

this is a false statement. some work, some don't. it's because most people put more effort into their WEDDING vs their marriage.
