Risky

first off......i refuse to call BMX, Skateboarding, Freestyle Motocross, Inline Skating or any other similar sports as "Extreme Sports"

now......These sports are only risky if you think they are.......just think, is it risky to drive to work? You dont think its risky because you have done it over and over. So, if your new to the sport or just starting out, then it is risky because you havent been in that situation before.

BMX, Skateboarding, Freestyle Motocross, and all the other similar sports are just a mind game that is being played with the person playing the sport.

Extreme Sports are a Label now. Not that they are not Extreme, they can be sure. So can Stick and Ball Sports. It is basically a label that has been put on a type of sporting event. Motocross, Freestyle, Freeriding, BMX, Mountabiking, Snowboarding, Skating, Etc, etc...It all depends if you are riding over your head or not. For some, walking is an Extreme Sport. lol...;}

Media jackasses called it "Extreme Sports" because they're extreme...

Here's one definition from dictionary.com:

ex·treme ( P ) Pronunciation Key (k-strm)
adj.

Sports.
Very dangerous or difficult: extreme rafting.
Participating or tending to participate in a very dangerous or difficult sport: an extreme skier.

it depends on what your doing they consider paintball an extreme sport and it isn't all that extreme, and it depends on if you know what your doing or where your are doing it like cliff jumping or diving if you jump you could land on a rock but if you do it where you know it is safe it isn't very risky but u could land weird and hurt yourself, so you decide really depends on if you know what you are doing and where you are doing it
