I love them! They can give a romantic look, but also can look laid-back, depending on the color and the material of the gauchos.

hah coming from LA, theyve been downgraded to lounge pants/workoutclothes/sleepware. if you see a gilrl at a club wearing gauchos these days, she's either 35 or trying to wear one of the gazillion pairs she has stuck in her closet..
gotta admit though, i own a white pair & wear them to the beach
