Do you mean you want to learn the accent?
FYI: You probably know english very well, just not the slangs and don't talk with an american accent. Don't think you don't know english!
You will pick up on the accent sooner or later. Just do not try to mimic other people, as some people may pronounce a word or two the wrong way, and you will have that with you for the rest of your life! so take classes or the rosetta stone learning CDs.

If you can't afford CDs or lessons, and have trouble learning from books that are printed in english, there are a number of English learning podcasts on iTunes that you can download free. If you don't have an MP3 player, you can just get the iTunes program and listen to them on your computer, or burn them to CD to listen to on a stereo or portable CD player.

Once you get the program, do a search in the music store for English. When you get your results, click on the podcasts link close to the top and you'll find quite a lot of programs to learn conversational and business english, origins of words and phrases. I would recommend the English as a Second Language podcast from the Center for Educational Development. They have over 80 free lessons up already.

Good luck.

Read books in English--this will give you the grammar patterns. Also, find friends who are English speakers and ask them to help you learn to speak well. Perhaps you can trade, you teach them your language, they teach you theirs.

I taught my doctor to speak and understand English much better when he came here from China, and he and his father have at least taught me to be polite in Mandarin Chinese.

Check out your local community college, adult education center.
Often you can find ESL (English as a Second Language) classes being offered at no cost.
