I just formated my laptop, and just installed windows, It's recognizing that I have a nic card there but theres a question mark next to it in the device manager... I know I need to install the drivers for it, but I don't know the exact manufacturer and model... How can I find out so I can download and install the drivers?

Laptops are a ***** about that. Get the make and model number, and hit the internet site of the manufacturer on that one. Only way you are going to correct it. They have the right drivers.

You also can try to right click on the question mark that appears in the device manager next to the nic card and un-install it. Reboot the computer and sometimes windows recognize it and load the correct driver for it.
Is it an external nic card? if so then all the info should be there on the card.

Right-click on My Computer. Hit Properties. Click the Hardware tab. Click Device Manager. Click Network Adapters. There you will find the name and version of your NIC card. Then you can do a search to find the correct driver.
