Are you proud to be an American? Do you appreciate all that has been done to guarantee our freedom?Whether you agree with war,do you give thanks and appreciation to our soldiers? Many battles have been fought for our freedom but the biggest battle is between our own citizens......we all need to come together and be as ONE! Defend our country, our civil rights, and give thanks to our forefathers for having the faith to give us the oppurtunities we have to succeed in life. And most of all, praise GOD for continuing to bless us daily...whether you see it or not.....we are a blessed country. Our country was founded on religious principles....people read the pre and post minutes of the meetings...God was there and he is here today!Have a happy and joyous 4th of July.Be careful......and thank a soldier for your freedom.

You should celebrate Independence day the day you actually got Independence, like when the British surrendered to the Americans at york town.

Nice speech, And I agree exept for one thing...Leave God out of it other than a Historical reminder in our speeches. My family migrated to the United States to Flee religious persecution (we are Christian) but our constitution promises us the right to religious freedom be it Islam, Buddahist or others. Its about freedom to think and act. And people get too carried away with "God Bless America" Do you think we are the only ones? I hope "God blesses Pakistan" not the terrorist there, but the 600,000 homeless people after the earthquake...Be proud to be an American but gt down off your high horse we all live on this planet together.

Well I am proud to be an American. But as far as the 4th of July its got to where it is a money racket. Like here in Indiana they raised the price of gas 35 cents just because of the 4th now it's $3.00 a gallon. And money spent on fireworks it's a money racket like I said
