what are those congressmen and senators doing .the lake houses and boats are dusted off by mexicans the jet skies loaded behind the family suv and the two hour trip to the country begins saturday ending with fireworks and the drive home that night or early the next morning.HOW much will they think about our boys in un-iform and should we not tone down celebrations during times of war.
INSTEAD millions of defense contractors have closed till wednesday the well paid and well benefited health care and retirement secure and average americans will struggle to have a few freinds over and some low cost barbaque.
HOW DO THOSE CONSERVATIVES DO IT .
CELEBRATE LIKE NOTHING IS WRONG AND THE WORLD IS JUST FINE .

I can pretty much believe they will be part of a celebration that includes the military somewhere. And you think the liberals are all hanging around bases inviting soldiers to their house for a hot dog? yeah right.........Our economy is going great guns right now. What is all this talk about people suffering. Did one your DVD players break and you had to fill up your escalade with $80 worth of gas before tromping off to walmart to fill your basket with crap made in china? You could only get carry out 3 times last week from Outback steak house? The reason people are having a hard time may be is that they are over extending themselves. New cars, new houses, new furniture, computers, TVs, DVD recorders, play stations in every room, Cell phones on every ear. You have money problems? Look in the mirror for your answer. There's the problem.
I for one will celebrate the Birth of Independence of this Nation and will have no guilt doing so. They do have a 4th of July is Iraq too. The calendar is the same and they too will celebrate. So don't you worry about those soldiers.

Ol' "W" is continuing his 24/7 job of being the President of the most powerful nation on earth. His vacation begins the day after the next presidential inauguration.
As for oil buddies and the like...thankfully the oil companies continue to put their investments into harm's way to provide us fuel with which to drive; plastics for countless products, including the keyboard on which you pound out your vitriolic hatred for anything good, and yes for a profit. If no profit, there go your gas pumps. Simple economics.
Stop following the train; use your head, not others'.

What are you doing this weekend? I'm sure that "george" (quite disrespectful of you) will be praying for the troops among his other duties. What do you think is going on....say at the Kennedy Compound this weekend? Or at the Kerry home? We celebrate our Indepence Day, fought for many years ago, and hopefully someday the nice people in Iraq and Afghanistan will be doing the same!!!! Grow up, Life is Tough!

I think he's preparing his seech for the nation the one that has him reminding us how the "iraq people need to know we won't desert them" while writing amendments to slice benifits to military personal. The one where he attacks the liberal media as the root of all evil and reminding us we "must stay the course". I think he'll make reference to what a great nation of "folks" we are and how this is a noble endeavor. He may makes some referances to the historical signifigance of this day in our history as a nation while he contiues establishing his "relgious" theocracy.
