Just look at my bio...
THE BEATLES ARE AMAZING
They started true rock'n roll with amazing lyrics and catchy songs. They had their share of bad moments, but were known as the good boys of the era. They were all attractive and made of pure talent. Songs Like "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds", "Hey Bulldog", "Help!", "Let it Be", Lady Madonna", "Yellow Submarine"...over 150.
Their songs ranged from slow to fast, poppy to more rock, funny to serious.
Paul and John could sing like HELL!
And the world stil mourns the death of John Lennon each year like it is an international memorial recogtion.
Ringo and George rocked hard too - the entire band is amazing.
I love their music and the hope it brings. I would definetly have to say Beatles. They paved the road for true talent and rock in the music business.
What an imagination those men had

For me, The Rolling Stones rule! One could argue about the Beatles being better songwriters or being more creative and, perhaps, having the more consistent recordings. They definitely are the single biggest influence on popular music ever, before or since!
Now, having said that, I just prefer the straight-ahead, hard-driving, blues-influenced rock of The Stones. The Beatles may have been slightly ahead, with respect to the early 45s, but by 1966, I'd put them neck-in-neck with respect to the LPs. Beginning in '68, with "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Beggar's Banquet", however, it's been The Stones all the way for me.
They still put on the best, most exciting live show of any act ever!

Not even close.... The Beatles

The Beatles paved the way for so many others and changed the face of popular music.

The Stones are another one of those groups that are WAY OVERRATED. They had a few decent songs in the 60's and early seventies, but after that should have hung it up.

The Beatles were far and away the much better band.

Without the Beatles, there wouldn't be any Rolling Stones!

On January 1, 1962, the Beatles auditioned for Decca Records...they failed.....after the Beatles signed with EMI/Parlophone, Decca came to the Beatles and asked them who are your favorite groups? It was George Harrison who told Decca that the Stones were good, and Decca signed them! True. Lennon/McCartney gave the Stones their 2nd single "I Wanna Be Your Man."
