Thank you for considering going into business operations with Nigeria. I have been working with a Nigerian consulate for years and have profited from it profusely. If you are hesitant about going into business with the prince of Nigeria, you can send your banking and routing information to my Yahoo email and I'll foward it to my Nigerian contacts.

First of all, the mail you've received is a scam, as rightfully stated by others earlier. Secondly Nigeria as a whole does NOT have a prince. Not that there are no Royal families in Nigeria, but the country has many different tribes and even the single tribes are not ruled by Kings. In almost EVERY village you have a socalled Oba or Igwe or Kabiesi who asumes the position of a King. Due to that Nigeria should have thousand of princes.
By the way, my husband is from such a royal family - so I am married to a prince. ;-)

Nigeria is a country full of scammers, I dont trust anybody or would ever do any business from anybody over there.
I cant believe there still running that scam. It works by them sending you some kind of bogus checks for a large sum of money and they'll expect you to cash it in at a bank and wire the money back to them immediately. Maybe a week or a month later the bank will catch on to the bogus check and demand all their money back, and you'll end up oweing the bank $5-20grand. And whole never hear from the Nigerian ever again.

The question is why the "prince" or anyone else of Nigeria would send you, a complete stranger, an email requesting that kind of help? All they want is your personal information and your money.
Steer clear.

The request is a scam, usually it is an Nigerian princess asking for help. Consider this, why would a prince who has weathly friends contact a stranger to move money? Scamsville!!!!

It's a scam, you don't know how many mails i have gotten with messages with similar content, one was that the President of some African country had died and left unclaimed money and they wanted someone to smuggle the money here. Don't fall for it
