The question is a pretty simple one, although I guess I'd prefer a more detailed answer.

Look for schools with what they call "rolling admission" - has nothing to do with whether the school is selective or not. I enrolled in the Fall 2004 semester, and I didn't apply until July.

I'd also recommend asking for an interview with an admissions officer. Bring a resume, prior transcripts, any academic data (SAT scores if you still have them, etc.) After the interview, follow up and stay on it.

Also, fill out a FAFSA form at www.fafsa.ed.gov as you may be eligible for financial aid.

Well it's going to depend on how quickly you move, 1st things 1st make sure you have all your material together than I whould suggest chooseing a college you have your mind set on and than going to the person in charge of admissions and haveing a long talk with them regardeing why you didn't apply till later on and tell them about what you whould offer to the university if they were to allow you to join in the Fall of this year...i was in the same position as you back in 2000 hopefully that helps

Some colleges have deadlines and some don't. I suggest applying NOW so the colleges can get back to you. My first roommate registered for everything the week before classes started but I don't know when she applied. So apply now to get it out of the way and if all the deadlines have passed try for Spring. Procrastination is a two-sided sword!

Give it a try... depends where you want to go... I'm sure you can get into a community college and then transfer afer one semester... But try calling the admissions office at a college you are interested in

Choose a non-selective college or a community college.
