I wanted to know the mens opinion....My bf and I broke up 3 months ago. A couple of days ago, I broke and decided to call him. We spoke very calm to one another and discussed the issues that lead to the break and what we expected from each other and what we were able to do now to meet needs of concern in the realtionship. Then we jointly decided to give it another try. I think I am still just a bit nervous ....therefore, I wanted to know from the men, could my bf be real in wanting to work out the relationship?

It sounds like the two of you did everything right! While I can't say exactly what he is feeling if you know that he still has feelings for you then he probably wants this to work just as much as you do.
Sometimes though men can be very cautious about having their feelings hurt, especially a second time. Just go slowly and you should see the signs by how he reacts. If he still cares for you the way you do for him, he will want to get back into things.

It depends on the guy and how much he cares for you. Also, it depends on how serious the issues are that caused the breakup in the first part. It is ok to be nervous since both of you have been hurt by the other. I would go slowly and try to not pick everything back up where you left off.

I don't think so, no, because if he had been sincere, he would have called you. You called him, which means you are the sincere one..not him! You can try it......but don't expect too much, because it won't work, not long term.
