i did not go to see this at the movies because i thought that it was irresponsible to release a film that draws attention to how one group of palestinians kidnapped jewish athletes. the movie was ill time because of the daily deteriorating relations between the two groups.

Spielberg needs to get away from these WW2 and "real-lifey" type stuff, and get back to aliens and sharks.

I really don't see the problem in releasing the movie when Spielberg did. I don't find it irresponsible what so ever. The two groups will NEVER get along, and people deserve to know what happened.

good 3 is brutal ha ha. he's made such a brilliant number of large action pictures a million- Lincoln 2- Saving private Ryan 3- Jaws 4- Empire Of The sunlight 5- Schindler's record Its a shame that war Horse won't be able to make a superb 5 record

I have not seen it either, however the premise of it is sound. It shows both sides of the story and how each side is to blame for the problem. It also leads to the real question of why people cannot work their differences out with civility instead of gravitating towards revenge.

the movie had positive implications, in that it showed a side of the jewish/palestinian conflict that had not prior been mentioned. as a former resident of israel, it is important that we address these issues openly in order to resolve them.
