An argument that is impossible to prove...
I LOVE IT!
Since the answer is based on a logical premise, and I know that I exist, and I cannot prove that God does or does not exist, I would have to say that we created God as a way to deal with death and to try and create a social order.

This question is always brought up & no one seems to give a correct answer.
The answer is God is our Creator. You must not have been woken up to his abilities and the things that are around you to see His beauty. These are the things that He has created. He created Adam from the earth and blew breath into his body. When God saw that Man was lonely, God put him into a deep sleep and that is when he took one rib from Adam and created a mate for him -- that was Eve. They became one and that is how everything started -- after he created the Heavens and the Earth. If you continue to have such doubts, I urge you to pick up a King James Version -- not International version -- and just start reading. You will find alot of answers and at the same time it will fill you with peace & assurance of God's power & Love.

There is no proof that GOD created humans even though it may be a fact but we can easily prove that humans created GOD according to their faiths. This is the reason why so many religions and so many different types of GODS exist on earth.

The answer to this question is yes. God the Creator started the ball rolling. He gave humans the freedom of thought to come up with many different ways to commune with him. I believe that most good based religions/ philosophies all have similar roots.

I'm a buddhist follower. according to our religion there's no god. every creature on the planet has born as a result of biological and geogreaphical changes. as the new scientific finding says our world has appeared after the big bang. I agree with the above answer which explains the Stroy of big bang. so there's no god. only thing is certain relions created a god to help them selfs to explain some un explianable things.. god was formed to create a puntuality amoung the society. so ppl avoid sins due to the scareness of hell and they do good things to which ultimately (what they believed) gives access them to enter the hevean. so we human created the god. otherwise all the things that we see now are results of natural changes

No we did not create God. Of course, the need to find social order and meaning in life may seem to play a big part in the personality of God and how he is portrayed, but looking at how wonderfully complex yet simple, how intricate yet flawless and how delicate yet so resilient our world and universe is it is impossible to not see the hand of a Creator-a mighty Creator at that. We gave him the name God.

The question is foolish, for if man created God he would know it and not even have to ask!
Those who think they are brilliant say, "There is no God," or they make themselves out to be God. This is the same self-centered mentality that proclaimed that the Universe revolved around the Earth. This is the same attitude that leads many to believe that we are the only 'intelligent' life in the cosmos.
For my part, I would rather be a holy fool, not a 'brilliant' atheist.

All forms of early tribal man had a name for the thing they believed caused things they had yet to understand. In english, the most common name is god, or God for the christian type.
Today, most of the western world has access to proof for most of the knowable Universe, and so far there is no evidence that it needed a wet nurse at any time in history.
So, early primitive humans created gods.

People are free to believe whatever they want, it's their own opinions and not mine. But, my personal opinions that I think are true (in a very large way) are:
We created God. I believe that he existed, long ago, as well as Jesus Christ. What I fail to believe is that any sophisticted powerful being is waiting for us up in a place called Heaven when we pass away. There is no proof of the existence of life after death. I sort of believe that people can be reincarnated - maybe this is just because the thought of rotting in a grave is so hard to wrap my head around. Even so, it brings comfort to think this could happen. I tihnk that's why so many people are involved with the Christian religion. Nobody likes to believe you can flat-out DIE and be gone forever...
