Her victory over Venus was her first ever third round win (grand slam play) in her career. Can she do it?

Beating Venus Williams just isn't that impressive anymore. Her chances are not any better than they were at the start of the tournament. I'm not gonna say that she won't win it, because women's tennis today doesn't have a single dominant force like nadal and federer in the men's. So any women has a shot in every tournament.

I would say her chances are not that good. Myskina is playing well right now, and I think Anastasia will beat Jankovic in straight sets. Myskina just lost in the finals at Eastborne before this tournament to Justine Henin-Hardenne in 3 close sets.

Highly unlikely, though it is more open than it was a couple of years ago. There's no one clear favorite to win this year, so she has a (small) chance. That said, it would be a shock.

look at it this way. she will face mysikina next round and if she passes that one she would have to probably go against mauresmo on the quarterfinals. so her chances are pretty slim. plus, venus just made too many errors in that match.

I don't think that it is that good. The next person she plays is Anastasia Myskina (RUS) (9). she will have to play a really good game to beat her.

I say...her chances are slim. Although I wouldn't be surprised if she won. I don't like the fact that she's so dramatic though.
