Just try to act normal and calm, answer all questions and you will be OK. Nervousness is good! It means you want the job!

Wow, guys, don't be hating: we've all made a few typos in our lives (including some of you guys. Check out the grammer on your posts on this site). Anyway, to answer the question, some people do and others don't. There was a time when I was nervous about stuff like that. I would force myself to breath deeply before going in and I would preview any questions that I thought might come up. Although I still go over a mental "check list" of possiable Q and A's in my mind, I don't get nervous anymore. All it is is someone asking you questions and you answering them. If you don't know an answer right off hand, pause and think for a moment. If it still doesn't come to you, just say, "I don't know but I can get back to you on that if you'd like," or something to that effect. The interviewer wants to see confidence: he wants to know that you can get the job done. Just relax, be confident and know that--no matter what happens--everything in the end will work out. Best of luck to you.

My first interview was for a weekend job as a shelf stacker at a local supermarket. I don't remember much but I got the job. I was 16 and worked there for 6 years through college and university.

It's "important", sweety, not "impotent".
And you should relax and be who you usually are at a job interview, that way you won't have to pretend you are someone you aren't 8 hours a day if you get the job!
They're just people, just like you. You want to make some money, and they want you to help them make more money than you are going to cost them. Tell them how you think you can help make that happen, and the job will be yours.

Yes all the time...actually I get nervous even just meeting important people. But to calm yourself just go over the typical interview questions in your head...then you will be praticed on how your want to answer them. Read up on the company that you are going to interview with, ask them a few questions it willl show you have done some research and your interested. When they do ask questions kind of repeat the question giving your self some time to thinkout your answer. You will do fine just be yourself and relax. If it's meant to be..it's meant to be!!

I answered the question about LOL and now realize you are from France........so don't worry about the typo.
In English the word "impotent" usually describes a male penis that won't get completely erect........so when you also wrote the word "fell" instead of "feel" some other answerers called you on the "Freudian Slip", if you understand a reference to Freud.
Some of the girls/women here had excellent advice. Tell us how it went !!!!!
We'll be pulling/cheering for you !!!

First, please don't use the work "impotent" when you mean "important." Big mistake, but funny. Yes, it's natural to feel nervous. Don't go into the interview too boisterous or overconfident because that's just as bad. Try to be prepared, answer honestly, but tactfully; you don't need to tell them personal things. Don't be too talky. Good Luck.

It is normal to be nervous, just don't let it show. Be polite, answer questions directly (don't ramble), at the end of the interview they may ask you if you have any questions, just make sure you have something prepared so you look interested, also learn about their business incase they ask you in depth questions. Look them in the eye, be confident not sure, show your eagerness don't act desperate. Good luck.

The only reason why a person should ever feel nervous when going on an interview is because they aren't prepared and they know they aren't. Being prepared is key and gives you confidence!
