There are loads of treatments available for acne scars, but you dont mention how severe they are. Assuming that they are moderately bad firstly, you can go to the chemist and ask for a retinol cream such as, Retinol A or Retinova. This cream basically works as a skin bleaching agent (not as harsh as it sounds, and over the counter products have less bleach in them than the ones you get from the Docs). It contains a product called hydroquinone, which will not only prevent furthur outbreaks but will also exfoliate your skin. You should notice a difference after 4-6 weeks. It feels like ages I know but, acne scars lie deep within the skins dermis. If after a few months you still cant see any difference go to your Doctors and ask if you can be referred for a chemical peel. This is usually only carried out for severe scarring. You will probably receive what is known as a salicylic acid peel, and takes about 3-4 months to notice a difference. Other options include, microdermabrasion and laser treatment. However these are not currently available on the NHS and come at a cost. Dermabrasion is a manuel procedure that smooths out the scar using a small wire brush or diamond stone. Laser treatment on the otherhand burns away scar tissue. Following this treatment you would need to wear sunscreen and retonoid cream. It also causes some discomfort and tenderness. PS There are aslo lots of cover up creams available specifically for this kind of thing. However they can also take a while to work. Buy them from your local chemist. For very mild scarring you can try a few at home procedures and products to help reduce the appearance of the scars. At home dermabrasion and chemical peels can help diminish some scarring especially if you also use retinol or alpha hydroxyl acid lotions or creams. For sensitive skin you may not want to apply retinol or alpha hydroxyl products right after dermabrasion or peels because it can cause redness and irritation. Other products you can try are scar reducing creams like Mederma or Rosehip seed oil which is said to be great at reducing scar tissue. Aloe Vera juice and gels and lavender oils are also said to work well on reducing scars.

this sounds stinky but try a clove of garlic cut into slithers on the effected area each night before you go to bed and have a shower in the morning cos you don't want to walk about smelling like garlic, garlic is both an antiseptic and antibiotic so it will help your teenage spots but the marks will go away in time but try not to pick and damage the skin. cut the garlic into slithers and put the juice on the effected area cheep and effective, good luck

There's a scar kit out by clearasil. You can also try a microdermabrasion kit. That could help remove some of the old skin cells and fade the marks.
