I want my ears pierced, and some say go to claires or the doctors or a proffesional! I want to know which is safest and hurts the least! P.S. do they pierce both ears at the same time?

if you're talking about lobes, i'd just go to a claires.. they do a fine job.. and no, they don't pierce both at the same time. They do one at a time. It's not that bad, really. Just make sure you pick out a good quality of earring when they pierce them. Sterling silver or nickel-free earrings work well.
Or go to a professional body piercer.

I would HIGHLY recommend you go to a professional salon, like a tattoo parlour.
They will use a 14g hollow needle. That means, they will "punch" a very small hole in your ear, and they will follow the needle through with a 14g ring. It's pretty much painless, just a small *poke* and it is MUCH safer and less traumatic to your tender ear tissue. If you want, they can and will pierce both of them at the same time. Just ask them. Also, piercing parlours autoclave (sterilize at very very high heat) your jewelry and needles first. This prevents infection.
If you go to Claire's or the mall, they will use a Gun. This means the blunt-tipped jewelry will be FORCED through your ear. It will not heal as fast, most likely will not heal properly at all, you will probably have problems with them forever. And it hurts MUCH worse. Plus, they use a very weak solution to "wash" the jewelry, which could lead to infection.
It costs about the same to do it at either place.

no they pierce each ear one by one and either place you go its still gonna hurt just for a second

I got mine pierced at the store "ICING" made by claire`s, and theyre great! Good luck!

Piercing Pagoda at the mall they are awesome ! if you have that place or you can buy i ear piercer and do at home like my sister got her 2nd one or 3rd pierced ear with that invention :)

yeah to get them completed. yet dont purchase your jewelry from there ( like those they pierce with is nice yet each and each of something interior the save...)via fact they rust. after which you will get the piercing contaminated.

they're all gonna hurt the same. it doesn't make a difference where you go. just go to claires its free.

they are all realy good but i got mine done at clairs and theyr awsome.all my friends did it at clairs-i would say go there
