Well, it is painful to give birth and yet the end result brings a great deal of happiness. It is painful to begin an exercises program and yet the end result brings pleasure. It is hard to get into a friendship/relationship with a new person, (the painfulness of the unknown, the fear of rejection, etc) yet it can be the most rewarding life changing thing a person can do.
If you don't take risks you don' get the rewards.
Work on long term gratification and goals.

It is the way we are made. We seek to conquer, to have dominion, to lead, to be respected, to achieve, and even sometimes, overachieve. Nothing comes without a cost, so yeah, its been designed that way. We must toil to make it. Even coming into life is a troublesome activity. You get squeezed past a very tight canal, and end up having to cry to get any little piece of attention.

This statement is logically flawed. Sometimes its the pain of the act (as you put it) that makes the ends worth achieving. As far as the tomato analogy, what about ketchup, or spaghetti sauce?

We do any thing anticipating good only but not troubles, the result may depend on different aspects. If we anticipate troubles in the beginning itself we can not start any thing.
