I would assume your boyfriend is having some issues coping with the idea of you being a model, and he wants to discourage you from doing so. Talk to him about it!!! Be patient, and understanding!

It sounds to me that he probably thinks if you become a super model you won't want him anymore. If you signed with a modeling agency you can't be ugly. You need to tell him you need his support not criticism. If he doesn't support you now he won't support you later in life. Ask him what he is afraid of and what is really bothering him about this and if you can't get any answers I'd tell him to get lost you need someone on your side pushing you up in life not dragging you down. He's jealous....and you don't have to put up with ANY verbal, or physical abuse. If he keeps it up....dump him. You wouldn't be with a modeling agency if you were ugly. Best of luck to you......

He is afraid to lose you but if he truly cared about you he would "encourage" you and support you. If he is putting you down, first sign of a bad relationship - get out now! You have your life ahead of you and should not spend it with a boyfriend who belittles you.
