You need to have a secure place for your money. It won't do you any good to earn money if someone is going to borrow it and not return it. Try having a talk with your mom and tell her that you are wanting to earn money for your first car, college, and have some spending cash for clothes. Put your money in a secure place that can be locked until you have enough to open a bank account. Keep a notebook with the money and record every amount that you get and where it came from. If she wants to borrow, that is fine but she must sign and date with the amount that she borrowed recorded and the balance that you now have.
To earn money look around the neighborhood and see what you could possibly do. Are there a lot of old people that need their dogs walked or Flower beds taken care of etc. Look around are there some mothers that could use help. Can you cook ? You could make candy etc. and sell to the neighbors. Basically think of what is needed in your neighborhood and what you can do about it.

Has it ever occored to you that maybe your mother doesn't give you money because she can't afford to? Perhaps it is all she can do to keep a roof over your head and food in your belly. So instead of whining about not having expensive clothes and not being able to shop in the stores you want to, try being grateful for what you do have.
Instead of complaining about your mom borrowing money from you, why not offer to give some of the money your "rich" uncle gives to you to her without expectation of repayment. Grow up a little and help out. Life is not a TV show or a magazine spread. You are not entitled to expensive clothes and a pile of money in your wallet.

I'd love to go shopping too, but unfortunately, money doesn't grow on trees. And have you ever considered that money maybe tight for the family? I have a job (I'm 21) and I still end up broke because I give some to the family (to help out) or for gas. You're only 13. You don't need to having wads of money. Concentrate on school or being youthful. You're time will come.

Get a job babysitting or doing yard work in your neighborhood. Put your money in a savings account. And don't lend your mother money. She's an adult who should have a job and money of her own. Call the uncle. have him set up a savings account for you with the money he gives you. Put your money into a savings account, let it accrue interest, and have your uncle taking you shopping with it once a year or so. Then you'll have nice clothes, your money will be safe, and your mom will not be able to take your money.

Mow lawns. I've heard people making like $500. When your mom asks to borrow money, tell her she cant unless she makes a note that she owes you money.

Put an neat post up on the local grocery store bulletin board listing your age and that you're looking for job doing errands or whatever you think you can handle. Put up your phone number but not your address.

Um. You're 13. You can't live on your own. Legally, any money any relative or whoever gives you is still your parents' because you don't have the legal right to own it. If you want money, try babysitting or odd jobs or something.

why dont you ask for an allowance. do stuff around the house and ask to get paid in return. no one gets money for nothing, you will learn that in the real world.
my mom used to borrow money from me when i was younger and i would get mad that she didn't pay me back...but you realize things as you get older...
she probably needs it to pay bills (MORE IMPORTANT THAN SHOPPING AT THE COOLEST STORES!) she probably used it for things that you take for granted, (electric, groceries, hot water)

You know you owe your mom for every second of your life. Every breath you take you owe your mom and dad. So don't worry about money.
