And the other Pc is set to go....I just forgot how the cord configuration goes on the main Pc...so Both can be on the internet but in 2 diffrent places

NOTE: steps may vary. and assuming that your router has already been configured.

Are you using coaxial cable instead of common LAN cable with RJ45. I suggest go wireless, it's cheap just plug wireless adapter on your PC.


Verify Physical connection:
1. Check if the Modem is connected to the WAN port of the router.
2. Check if the computer is connected to the LAN port 1 of the router.
3. Check the LED's on the modem and the router.
(Modem’s power light is solid. and light on WAN and LAN port 1 in the router is on)

1. First, locate the LAN port at the back of your PC.
2. Plug the RJ45 jack on that LAN port at the back of your PC then connect the other end of that cable to the LAN port on your router, its usually at the back of the router, usually ports 1-4.

Try WBR-2310 and DWL-G122 works great.
