I have worked in theatre - both on and back stage (I prefer on):

I worked the lights and was Stage Manger for a Middle School Performance of Roomers by Neil Simon. I have acted in plays an musicals and taken acting classes at my high school and I'm in the top choir at my school.

I have performed at my middle and high schools as well as the two arts magnet schools in my state. And the local theatre center.

Performances from 1998-Present.

Little Red Riding Hood (musical)
Cinderella (musical)
Sleeping Beauty (musical)
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (musical)
Anything Goes (musical)
Ragtime (musical)
As Like it (play) (sry for the edit! wrote it wrong..)

It's my life :)

I just feel serene and calm on stage - it is a great outlet. Singing, dancing, acting - all of it. I love to take on different roles and just entertain!

Your welcome!

Hey! I love acting and I have quite the resume. I have been in 16 stage productions. My favorite being Becky, in Tom Sawyer, The Wicked Stepmother, in Cinderella, and a winkie/munchkin, in the Wiz. I have enjoyed all of the plays I was in and I even got to do one called a theatricade. It was an outdoor production of Don Quixote! I have been in 3 commercials and I enjoyed each one! It was fun and easy to do a job one day and then come home. I was on the Connan O Brien show, on NBC. I have an agent and she calls me for jobs in New York. I have not been in any movies but I got call backs for a few. I also did smaller things like the 6th Harry Potter book release at a book store. I acted out scenes from each of the books with fellow actors. That was really fun! Acting is an awesome career to pursue and I'm glad to have done what I have so far.

Yeah - mostly theatre.

All over UK, plus Bergen, Norway and Tokyo, Japan

First paid performance work was in 1990, then on and off since
Also behind the scenes work - Theater only

The Miracle Worker
Woyzeck
Les Miserables
Threepenny Opera
Twelfth Night

plus lots of Theatre in Education, Community Theatre, Devised Theatre...

I loved it! It can be hard work, with long spells not earning - but it is one of the most rewarding jobs ever - my favourite kind of work is performing in Fringe Theatre Events, or developing education and community projects.

The bigger the production - the less creative license you have!

I have been in 20 stage productions.
I have been at different theatres such as main street theatre, pennsylvania youth theatre, touchstone theatre and a bunch of others.
I have been acting since I was two and have been acting non stop and now i am 14.
I enjoy every single bit of acting that I did.
I have been on three commercials!
one when I was two, one when I was four, and one when I was seven.
When I was ten I apperared on the Conan O' brien show,
and that was at NBC studios in New York and that was a blast.
I have been in a student grad movie and that was a lot of fun we shot all of my scenes in one day but the crew was a lot of fun.

i haven't, but i'm interested in it.

but i do have a friend who has done a lot of theatre.

he was in a johnny depp movie about ten years ago. Blow was the name. he was the biker at the beginning. he also starred in his own movie, but it was a COMPLETE flop. poor guy, he signed on before reading the script. but, he's the only guy i know that can say he has done a movie that you can buy at amazon.com.

he enjoys acting but, like most people who try, he doesn't seem to be making it to the big time.

Go to video.google.com and search Ksquared. My 4 short films are there. The 20 minute one was made for a senior portfolio project. I was the camera person for two and the director/actress/ producer etc for the others.

I've never worked in theater or movies, but have always wanted to. I did a google.com search and found a site I believe you will enjoy. It's got links to lots of jobs in those areas.
