Fireworks are illegal in Illinois-Go to the Taste Of Chicago-They have a awesome fireworks show!!!

No place in IL to buy good stuf.... youll have to travel to WIS. or IN. to get good stuff. Near the wisconsin-illinois border there are lots of stands set up. But watch out, its illegal to buy there and import.
The cops will sometimes watch people and pull them over for it. Indiana has nice ones also.

Can't get above sparklers legally in Illinois! You could drive to Indiana, but don't get caught coming back in or shooting them off....pretty steep fine!

I don't know your state's laws but we either go to Indiana or Tennessee.It's a drive(1 to 2 hours) but we make it a small road trip and buy plenty.
