put a pin into the small hole next to the eject button. That should do it.

Yes definitely use a straightened out paper clip or pin in the small hole on the front of the draw - that's why it's there.

Use a pin to open the tray, but if it should be a trayless model, unplug it and slide a butter knife under the disc to ease it out.

attempt shutting down the pc and because it quite is shutting down keep urgent the eject button. quicker or later the DVD tension might desire to unfreeze because it quite is close down and additionally you would be waiting to eject.

maybe the buttons broken, you should have a little tiny hole on the front of the drive, if you put a thin object like a needle down this it should open the drive up.

I use a paper clip which, when straightened out is great for opening a stubborn CD tray.
