Because congress are the ones that do that and we have a repuglcan congress. In November when people vote I hope we get a democratic congress then we he will receive his just deserts.

No! He needs to be impeached for not protecting us from the Mexican invasion, they all took the oath Dem's and Pep's to up hold the laws of this country, and the only ones that are doing that is the Republican congress, they will not let the Senate bill pass that the Democrats came up with, think God, If the liberal Dem's get in office we will be turned into Mexico. But Bush is the head of law enforcement and he has not enforced the laws that are on the books, he needs to be brought up on dereliction of Duty charges. Along with most of the Democrats. Both parties run for office as conservatives, once they have fooled the voters and are safely in office Republicans sometimes double-cross the voters, but the Democrats always do.

Because the enemy party will not impeach the enemy president. Also the Democrats who supported the war and now realize their mistake don't want to look bad by admitting it.
Impeachment (and removal from office) is not enough. We need to create an American war crimes tribunal along the lines of the Nuremberg precedents and haul Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Karl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz and Alberto Gonzales (at a minimum) before it. The Nuremberg precedent includes handing down the death penalty against the worst war criminals.

Because the Republicans are currently in control of Congress. Wait until after the Fall elections and - God willing - the Democrats gain control. Maybe then someone will have the intestinal fortitude to introduce a resolution of impeachment. Then, we can be rid of Bush and send him off to the Netherlands to be tried in a war crimes tribunal. Some say Bush is the anti-Christ - I can see why they think that.

The Republicans are in control of both houses of Congress, and they will never let a impeachment resolution reach the floor to be voted on. Not against this president, especially over the issue of the war...

Well there are many reasons. Mostly becuase since we are not at WAR then he can not be a war criminal. Also I dont think American would allow a sitting President to be taken before the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague. And most of the higher powers at the UN said that it was ok for us to go into iraq, so other countries agree.

Y'know, too bad stupid people can't be impeached from the human race for being stupid or you'd be gone long time ago. Once again, allow me to point out that Bush has done nothing impeachable. Therefore, he can't be impeached. Kinda simple, wouldn't you think, but yet you people still ask the same question at least once a day.

Because President Bush has always been able to get Congressional approval before he does anything. Even the UN stated repeatedly that Saddam Husein needed to be removed but so many of the Countries on the UN security task force where getting bribes form Saddam that they didn't want it to stop. This includes France and Germany. I would personally want a President that protects our country than some one who lets solders die on foreign soil and do nothing. Let alone have a bombing in 1993 on American soil.

Because the Republicans control both the House & the Senate in addition to the White House.
If the Democrats regain control in the upcoming midterm elections this November, you may see a stronger push for impeachment.

Get serious, there aren't enough politicians who would commit to such a process to fill a small phone booth.
Check the process.
No matter how morally right you may think you are, you have to have enough votes in a Republican dominated Congress to carry through the process. There is no way that is going to happen.
I suspect that you might actually get closer to succeeding with a recall campaign. I am actually a little surprised that this hasn't surfaced as a movement.
