Thank you for asking D-L*** Technical Support, this is Yugi-Oh may I have your phone number area code first....
May I have your first and last name please...
May I know what D-L*** product are you calling for...
May I have the model number please....

NOTE: Assuming your using a D-L*** router. (Steps may vary)
I think you should mention what BRAND and MODEL of a router your are using so I could assist very well.

Open the utility Page of the Router

1. Open a browser
2. Type in the address bar 192.168.0.1
3. Press Enter. (It will prompt you for a username and password.)
4. Type in the default username that is “admin” and leave the password blank.
5. Click OK.
6. Under Home TAB, Click on the wireless buttton on the left.
7. Change name of your SSID otherwise, default will be displayed, (SSID - name of your wireless network)
8. Theres a radio button there for WEP select -Enabled.
9. By default 64Bit and HEX will be used.
10. On Key1 box, Choose your Password for 64Bit and HEX, you could type there any TEN numbers.

NOTE: Simple password will do, unless your working for NASA, or your a CIA etc.

(It depends on you just make sure you remember that password or else you would have to reset the router).

11. After typing the password on Key1 click Apply button, then click on continue.

* or you could go to support.dlink.com

Once again my name is Yugi-Oh thank you for asking, have a good one goodbye.

When you say website, are you referring to the web-based management page for your router? Are you trying to create a WEP key for your your WIFI router or create a password for your router to prevent others from changing your settings?

In basic English, A WEP key is an encrypted password used to authenticate and allow a wireless device to use your wireless router. Linksys/Cisco allows a phrase to be used to generate the key (easier to retrieve if forgotten). WEP comes in a few flavors (basically 64-bit and 128-bit), and is not extremely strong against a persistent hacker, but good enough for most neighborhoods.

Here's some info on setting up your wireless protection:

Know you will have to consult the user manual for the router in order to configure it.
