As in..if you have 99 wins and 63 loses then what is your winning % like the Boston Red Sox right know have 49 wins and 29 loses their winning % is 628. how do u get that?

That's not exactly a percentage, it's a permillage. All you have to do is sum up the wins and the losses to get the total games number (49 + 29 = 78). Then, divide 49 by 78 and you get 0,628205... The maximum value you can obtain is 1 (if you win every single game you play). Mutiply the value by 1000 to get the 628 you referred.

If you have 99 wins and 63 losses you have played 162 games. Winning 99 you get [(99 ÷ 162) x 1000] = 0,6111111111... x 1000 ≈ 611

The simplest way is to divide wins, in your example 99 by the total number of games played, 99 + 63=162 and the result is your winning percentage. 99/162 =.61111111111 or .611 .
