contact the court house in that county, assessor's office - real estate department. all you need is the address and current owner's name and they can look up the legal description.

Go to the Bexar County Chancery Clerk's office and tell the clerk what you want. They should be able to look up the book and page number of your warranty deed - then you can pull and copy the warranty deed - which will have your legal description on it. Also, you may contact your tax assessor's office and with the street address of the property they can give you a parcel number and deed book and page.

There is no legal description for personal property. Personal property is such things as a car, computer, furniture -- anything not fixed to the ground.

If you are referring to real estate (called real property) then go to the Bexar Country Courthouse at 100 Dolorosa, #108
San Antonio, TX 78205

Either go to the courthouse or have a title company get it for you.
