Many local libraries have a monthly book club. If you want to start one on ine then yes go to yahoo groups or some other groups site, and start a monthly book club. To get good books to read, try your local library, or Google book club picks. I tired it and found an awesome site it is http://www.readinggroupguides.com. It give advice on how to set up a book club or reading group, on the books to pick, and what to talk about. I'm sure there are lots of sites like these. Good luck

You should contact your local independent bookstore. Not only will they help you organize your club, they can also stock your club's books. They'll probably even give your fellow club members a 20% discount. To find your nearest store, go to the BookSense website at http://storesearch.booksense.com/booksense/storeSearch.do

Just gather some friends up and have a monthly read, where you all can agree on a book that month and then chat about the previous one.
