federal holidays?

Question

how many people think federal holidays were created to generate money for the economy?i thought holidays were about friends and family,the holiday itsself,not going to the movies or the mall,shouldnt everyone be entitled to celebrate holidays?those people working on holidays dont have any holiday at all,i seriously believe the economy would not be affected if buisnesses close for certain holidays or am i just being selfish,oh my goodness i know im gonna get it for this one.....

we have all lied to one another for so long that being togheter as a family talking and just being with one another is difficult these days .A family get togheter would include brothers and sisters moms and dads friends and workers .
ALL these people togheter at one place would lead to trouble.
AS good conservative americans uncle bob got busted for pot aunt sue did time for check fraud moms office lover showes up with his girlfriend or wife .dads secret office boy does to and the kids are sneaking off performing oral sex on one another cause being a vigin means no intercourse before marriage.NOW toss in some beer and mixed drinks crank up the music and your neighbor has his son get a gun and the party ends with one dead two wounded 25 cops at your house because your family has been at war with the neigbor for years and court battles have brought things to a head.
So in todays climite of hate and crime do you realy want to have a get togheter or sit in a nice air-conditioned theatre were you can keep the kids in public and the poor relations will not be moching tickets like they would food and booze.

America goes to the movies.NO talking a quick bite to eat on the way home and then of to seperate rooms to chat on line or play games .YOU gotta love america .
All the lies and deceit finaly have america divided for good and the rich man has his poor working class right were he wants them .
