cocoa butter

Try mederma, it is a bit costly but it is awsome and totally worth it! I started using this product last month and i have seen a significant change in the appearance of my scars, i can barely see some of the smaller ones now. I was sceptical when i bought mederma since i tried cocoa butter and some fading creams that didn't work at all. I used the cocoa butter for two and a half years! When using this product be patient and stick to it.

Good Luck!

I have scars & stuff from all sorts of things. You can't "get them out" fast, but here's what you CAN do:

First off, you can try the scar treatments from the grocery store or pharmacy...if you want. I HIGHLY recommend that you get a bottle of Vitamin E oil. I got a 2nd degree burn on my leg a couple years ago: Eucerin cream & Vitamin E oil...there's almost no scar, and it was a BIG area, too!

So, Vitamin E oil.

It'll take a while, so in the meantime, you can use coverup or foundation...yes, on your hands. I did it on my arms for my prom. (I have cats.)

Hope this helps!

Oh, the MOST IMPORTANT piece of advice I have: DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. At least, not TOO much! Anxiety will make it worse.

Good luck!

Mederma.

When applied everyday it can significantly reduce the appearance of scars. (I sound like the commercial!)

It can be a bit pricy. Most pharmacies carry a few but they may need to order it. Your doctor (preferably a dermatologist) may even have a few samples.
