This would actually make sense with the predicted evolution of the brain, spine, eyes and ears, and the millions of years it would take for this process, time travel could certainly be a possibility. Notice that there are only random spottings and "abductions" so as not to alter our existance! If time travel was possible now, I have no doubt that we would be kidnapping humans from different eras. What if we kidnapped Jesus and found out that he was a fraud! Boy that would change the whole "resurrection" theory! "He didn't come back to life, we stole his @ss!" It would also give every reason to look further into the past. To our evolution.
Just a thought.

"Shahbaaz"; Yeah, okay. No sh!t dude! I mean, that's the point of "not altering our existance" right?? Read the question better next time. They would obviously know their target!

While I have pondered the same thing you have questioned for years, I have not been able to find any indication that we have met the enemy and they are us. I think part of the problem is that as no one with any non-probing contact with aliens is at liberty to say anything, it will be a long time before we are able to get any concrete evidence indicating this question one way or another.
However, there are other sources that indicate time traveling humans of the garden variety have been around for quite some time. I recently finished an excellent book called the Count of Saint-Germain originally published in 1912 and written by Isabel Cooper-Oakley that is based on verifiable correspondance and historical documents written about him in the 1700s. Essentially, the Count had a variety of appearances and literal disappearances across Europe, between early 1700 and the early 1800s, in which he appeared to be around 50 years old and never aging. Much of the book is dedicated to the diaries of one of Marie Antoinette's ladies and the Count's attempt to circumvent the French Revolution years before there was any indication of the bloodiness to come. He was ambidextrous, "speaks German and French as fluently as Italian, and expresses himself pretty well in English. He has a smattering of all the arts and sciences, is a good chemist, a virtuoso in musick, and a very agreeable companion".
While the author refers to him as a mystic, to me such knowledge and agelessness portrayed therein points to his being a time traveler. The book is an entertaining read and not dry as historical accounts sometimes tend to be.
For some really good theories on time travelers, aliens, and other assorted subjects listen to George Noory on Coast to Coast AM, www.coasttocoastam.com. Specifically, for a more recently discovered time traveler check out the website for anything related to John Titor. While he is not an alien, there is a lot of documentation on his recent visits and some intriguing teases he provided during his time here about future events. There is actually an attorney that speaks for him on behalf of his family and a movie is being made about Titor.
Good luck in any time!

Odds are pretty heavily against the "aliens" being people from the future. If they're so smart, they probably don't need to abduct anyone. And if they can time travel, they could probably erase someone's memory, so they'd be able to abduct anyone at any time anywhere and return them to that exact spot completely unchanged at the exact same time, so no one would even know that it had ever happened. Also, if they kidnapped Jesus and found out he was a fraud, they'd probably not be surprised. As advanced as they would be, they'd probably have answered most of the questions that us humans need religion for.

There is no reliable evidence that any extra-
terrestrial aliens have ever been seen on the earth.
The people who have claimed to have seen them,
or even have been abducted by them are either
mistaken, hallucinating, or are unable to separate
their imaginings from reality.
Time travel is probably impossible. Even if it it
possible it will never become possible on our
planet, otherwise we would be swamped with time
travelers right now. The Count of Saint Germain
is known to have been a fraud.

I find your theories very interesting but to be honest they are just theories and sound like a load of bull**** even if time travel is possible how dum would humans be to abduct people who in one way or another have contributed to the future especially prominent figures. Seriously you must think it over before presenting such ridiculous theories
