Yep. Whether or not Rooney deserved to be sent off is immaterial. The fact that half the Portuguese team surrounded the ref to insist on a card was disgraceful.
The ironic thing was England played a hell of a lot better with 10 men and looked more likely to win. Crouch, Lennon and Hargreaves in particular were fantastic.
Remember what happened with Alpay after the England game in Turkey? He left Aston Villa because he couldn't handle the abuse. Multiply it by 100 and that is what is facing Ronaldo next season.

With a bit of luck Ronaldo will fly in for a 50 50 tackle and end his sad **** career. France winning 5-0 would be a result too.

Figo, Scolari and Ronaldo do not deserve to come that far. The way they played against Holland and the role they played in getting Rooney out of the game was unbelievable.
I say let them get trashed by France ! If they can beat Brazil they surely can manage that.

People shouldn't want that kind of revenge... England lost because Portugal played well and Ricardo was great... But Portugal will beat France because for all that the players made so far...they deserve it...
