Depends on the birthday and the people present.
If you want horror/scifi you could watch any of the following:

If you want animation/comedy you could try these:

Those are all birthday themed movies. If you want to plan a movie party for a birthday try compiling the birthday boy or girl's favourite movies.

One year I wanted to see the new movie Desperate Measures on my birthday cuz at the time I really loved Hugh Grant .. yeah, that wasn't a good movie, that movie was darn depressing
