I've read that we are born with or without "happy genes." I was apparently born with happy genes, as I've always been happy, no matter what happened to me. People think I live a dream life and that I've never had problems. Problems are a natural part of life, just as death is, and we must use good coping skills to solve problems, which in turn affects our happiness. Seeking positive and happy friends enables our ability to be happy and having healthy self-esteem will also add to our happiness. We must never use any form of abuse towards people for us to be happy, as what goes around comes back around. We must be healthy to be happy though, so we need to work on a positive lifestyle and seek employment that fulfills our needs. When we start doing things that makes us unhappy, we must go in another direction. Being strong for our family and friends also helps us be happy as we enrich others lives when they need us. Having healthy boundaries helps us be happy as we know when to proceed and when to stop others from intruding on us, either physically or emotionally.

When you wake up in the morning ask yourself "Today am I going to be happy and opptimistic or sad and pestimistic?" Just choose the first and no matter what bad thing happens to you you just move forward, look on the bright side, or just deal with it politely. It may seem hard but it's a lot easier then it looks!!!

It is not quite easy to be happy for ever. You should have the divine help to go that stage.SATISFACTION of the mind makes you happy for good.Understanding the nature of will make you a GOD child. You can realise the blissful nature if you realise GOD in every moment of life.If you live with the GOD's love, there is a possibility of happiness for ever.

Brain Candy. Prozac, Wellbutrin, or some other anti-depressant. I think people who are reaching out on public forums need to get professional help not some little poem about looking at a rainbow. Most people who try and get professional help live happier lives. So if life sucks go get the help you need and if someone says life sucks tell them to get help. Now cut and paste this on every question about depression.

Except what comes in life, both good and bad. Change the things you can for the better. Don't worry about the things you can't. Have love in your heart for everyone and look for the good in them. Be ready to always forgive, forget and move on.

Make the very best you can of every "minute" all those minutes add up to a lifetime. Ask yourself what can I do do make this minute count. Someone gave me this advice years ago and I've lived by it and it just seems that good things happen.

It's not possible in this life...the purpose of life is not to be happy but to do the right thing. The right thing is often quite painful.

James Taylor says in a song:
"The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time,
really nothing to it,
anyone can do it...."
