My pet peeves are those things I cannot control, so I let go of them so they don't affect my happiness. Being late is a pet peeve of mine, as when we are in a group of people and the function has begun, a late person disrupts the whole thought process. It's a lack of self respect that lets people be habitually late; I understand every now and then as stuff happens. People who talk in a movie disturb the whole movie and they obviously have no self-respect, consequently no respect or others. But I never hang on to those little aggravations as I need my energy for the things that matter. One gets less wrinkles when one worries less. ^_^

The biggest one I'm dealing with is a work situation.
Some of my co-workers are extremely lazy and are there to socialize, not work. They're angry because they don't feel they're paid enough. And when their area becomes a problem, the management sends in a better worker (like me) to get the situation caught up. Then the original worker gets upset at the relief worker because they think they're "so high and mighty" to come in to their situation to straighten it out.
It's a no win situation and causes stress for everyone involved.

I really hate know it all people, and liars. Especially when I catch them lying and the person they're lying to has no idea they're doing it. I hate trouble makers... people who try to cause problems in someone's relationship or is just flat out a jerk. I also hate people who can't spell, and who misuse the words you're and your, and people who use poor grammar.

Have to narrow this one down...
1. People who pick at things on their body (i.e. nose, scabs, sunburn etc.)
2. When people don't flush public toilets (what's up with that anyway?)
3. People who sniff loudly and repeatedly.
4. People who finish a sentence with a preposition...don't know why it just really bothers me...

Inconsistent newspaper deliverypersons, people who don't use turn signals, people who can't spell (not you), cereal enclosures that tear too easily, magazine subscription cards, navigating yahoo, not getting a straw at the drive-thru, whiners.

Leaving lights on. Leaving cupboards open. "Heavy walkers" (I sleep in a basement under hardword floors). Close talkers... the list goes on and on.

People who drag their feet when they walk. It is very annoying to me. It makes me want to yell, pick up your feet already, are they that heavy that you can't walk properly. GRRR..
