He was born with a gold spoon in his mouth and has no idea how the rest (well, a lot) of us live. A caring president would advocate for the well-being of his people, i.e. a minimum wage hike, a fair and simple tax code, health care for all etc. I realize that every president we have will be wealthy....that's the American way now. Anyway, to answer your question, some of us never approved of him in the first place. I voted for Gore...even though I found Bush rather endearing during the campaign. It's Cheney and Rumsfield I can't stand....pompous asses that they are. Bush doesn't run the country anyway.....the above stated Cheney and Rumsfield do.

Not sure I know how to answer that - it could be many things.
People are tired of the war, against the war. The war has dragged on for a loooong time with no real results to peace being restored.
People are tired of the issues here at home being overlooked. Mental health issues, homelessness, the out-of-control gas prices,,,
People feel they have the choice to another President and feel someone else could do better.
Could be any number of factors. I think being President would be a tough job. Something one learns through time, you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Bush seems to be on the wrong side of every american on something. I agree with whats he's doing in Iraq, But I hate what he's doing to our borders. I like the idea that he's against abortion, but then he's pro death penalty. He spends like a liberal, and talks like a hawk. He brings the prime minister of japan to Graceland, when he should be at camp david plotting how he's going to handle North Korea.

several reasons:
1: He lied about 9-11
2: He caused 9-11 and used it as an excuse to start a war
3:HE'S A MORON
4:look at the price of gas. it speaks for itself
5: He is not following the constitution and is starting to ignore it all together

Because people don't remember beyond last week or month; Because the media hype on the negative news as it relates to whomever is in office(gets the blame for down times; credit for good times); Because we're(unfortunately) a "who-do-we-blame" society/mentality.

It's fairly common for presidents not to be terribly popular in the second half of their second term.
Hell, Harry Truman couldn't have been elected dog catcher in 1950.

People are FINALLY realizing what many of us have known all along. Those who did believe in him and what he was supposedly trying to do were hanging on to this belief by a thin thread which finally broke!
