Sure, there are models all shapes and sizes out there. Being a supermodel, now, is out of the question, but really, who wants to be a skeleton covered by skin showing off stuff that looks like they scraped it off the road and pasted it on?
To get started, there is a website called world wide impact, they have modeling there. Go to http://www.wwimpact.com and sign up. The website has a lot of information on becoming a model and when you have your profile, they post all the booking requests that you could be elligible for. If you live in a bigger city, or close to one, then it'll probably be easy for you to find good bookings. It costs about $3 to reserve a booking request, and that means you're on their "audtions" list. There's all sorts of advice there and while the site itself doesn't give you much publicity, it's still a good place to start off.
Also, do you have a Barbizon school anywhere near you? Go to http://www.modelingschools.com/ and you can find the closest one. See if your parents might consider sending you to a summer session or something. I know a couple of girls who went through that and both got small little modeling jobs, but you've got to start somewhere.
Hope that helps.

You need to specify what kind of model you want to be. You could definitely be a model for petite clothing, or a body-part model (like face, hands, legs, stomach, etc). As for runway or supermodel (think Gisele or Naomi).....I'm sorry to say you're not really tall enough. But hey, your 14 years old.....you probably have some more growing to do. Ask yourself the same thing when your 16 (this is about the age women reach their maximum height). If you're at least 5'7"....give it a shot :-)

sorry, but I don't think you can. Most models have to be 5' 7" or taller. It's true that they don't need a glamorous face but they have to be really tall and skinny with long lengs. Being a model is not that pretty, however. Their lives are harsh and they earn very little. They're short-lived too (not literally), because they can probably just spend 8 years of their lives, at the very most, modelling.

Anyone can be a model but be carefull lots of agensies want money up front for a porfoloi, if you have a digital camera and a friend who is good/half good take the photos yourself and create a portfolio as that is the first thing anyone wants to see you can put this on line and just have business cards with the link on, a lot cheaper than having them printed. If you would like a portfolio site please contact me and I will set you on up for free.
examples of work can be provided on request. just message me here if you want, i am a profestional website designer but have lots of free time (and enough money) so i am currently doing free sites for small bands, small artist etc, basically anyone who could not afford them otherwise.

5'3 is a little on the short side, but you can try. Go to a modeling school, and they will train you. You then can get a job and see if people think you are a good model. best of luck!

If you want to be a model, then by all means, go for it. Just an FYI though, if you are too busty, you could hear that is a problem. Models have to be able to perfectly wear a certain size. If you chest is disproportionate to your body, you may have a problem. But, just keep thinking of models who were told their "problem" would never allow them to model. Cindy Crawford was told she could never model w/ her now famous mole.

Seeing as how we can't even see how you look, it's really a pointless question to ask. If you're just looking for an ego boost or a motivational speech, your question is incorrect.
Besides, you should be doing your grade 8 math homework instead of trying to model right now.

Take it like this, your parents is your guide in life, however the final choice will be yours. If you want to be a model, follow your dream. Never let anyone tell you you can do or be something. Go for it.

Maybe you could be a plus sized model. Not that you're fat, but big busts and short in height usually make you a good plus sized candidate. Best wishes

Check out the pine sol commercials, but you need to understand that getting there is a very difficult task, and are you really up to the challenge?.
