I would never ever ever have an abortion. If I made the mistake of getting pregnant, I would never forgive myself for denying that child a life. I would take care of the child if at all possible, but if I couldn't take care of him or her, then there is always the option of adoption.

I'm the mother of a teenaged daughter and would leave the decision up to her if "(God forbid) this situation should ever arise. That being said, I have absolutely no idea what I would have done in that situation, since I got pregnant at the age of 24.
I think some situations call for abortion, but I don't believe in abortion as a repeated method of birth control. It would better in some instances that the child not be born if it's going to be neglected, abused, or homeless.
In response to Jennifer L, the rate of teen pregancy has been on a steady decline in the last decade.

As a teenager if i were to get pregnant i wouldn't get an abortion because if you think about this is a new life being brought into the world and you never know if was here to make a differance in the world and know body should destroy a babies chances of coming into the world.

No, I would not have an abortion. You made the adult decision to have sex, you need to become an adult and have the child. If you feel like you cannot take care of the child and need to put it up for adoption, so be it. But do not kill the child- it is not their fault you are not ready to have a child. I am saying all this from experience. I was 18 when I had my daughter. And now, at 19, I am determined more than ever that she will not suffer from the decisions I made. I have no regrets about my decision, and I will raise her to the best of my ability. And now that I look at her beautiful face, I don't know what I would do without her.

I am a teen lol. Well i would not abort because it was a mistake i made and now i have to learn from that mistake by taking care of the child. Yes, i know it will ruin my life but i have to face and enjoy it even though i would have no patience with the child. If a family member were to rape me well yes i would abort or if not i would put the baby into adoption because i would not like to see the child and see that nasty guy in the baby. But other than that no cuz its not da baby's fault basically

No I would not get an abortion because there are other options of what I can do for the baby. I did get pregnant in my teen years and I ended up giving my child away for adoption. I have recently found out that my baby is a good life now, and his parents are letting me get two monthly visits with him. So that was my only option for me to have at that time.

Hypothetically, if I was a teenage girl, and I got pregnant, I would not have an abortion. It's a little something I like to call personal responsibility. There would be a reason that I got pregnant. If I wasn't playing growing folk's games, I wouldn't be dealing with grown folk's thangs. If I was old enough to spread my legs, then I should be old enough to deal with the consequences.

I was a teenager when I got pregnant and no I didn't do abortion. I had my son and everything has been really good since then. I think I made the best choice for me. But thats jsut it it's everyone's choice. I had a really supportive family who was willing to help me so i could finish school. Not everyone has that.

Nope. I was 17 when I got pregnant with my daughter and I never even considered abortion. I didn't consider abortion when I became pregnant with my second child at 18 either. I'm happy with my decision to give birth and raise them. Their father and I are very happy. We've never been on welfare; Even though everyone assumes all teen mommies are on welfare. My fiance and I are getting married in 6 months, and then eventually having another child. Not everyone ruins their life by having a child as a teen.

I'm not a teenager and even now if I get pregnant I'd have an abortion cause I'm not ready to have kids and I don't want to have a child and then not be able to take care of it...but that's just me :)
