I really need to get a job this summer to earn money for uni, but shops say that I'm not what they are looking for, because 2 months is too short. What are my other options??

Have you tried seasonal jobs at fairgrounds and stuff like that?

I agree with the other answers though, there are some shops that are looking for people in the summer months as they know they will be getting busier.

Why not look for a job in a pub? You could still do some hours whilst in uni just for some extra cash.

There will be lots of competition because all students are in the same boat.

Good luck. :-)

you could always do something like babysitting... kids are at home during the summer but parents still work. i know it's not exactly a steady job but you can get good money.
